Hydro classes are a popular choice for active seniors

Staying active and connected is easy at Brookland, especially with our popular hydro classes led by Dana from Fully Integrated Therapies.

The sessions are not only gentle on the joints and fantastic for mobility, but they’re also a fun way for residents to enjoy time together in a welcoming, social environment. 

Each week, participants move through a mix of gentle stretches, strengthening exercises, and energising movements – all in the refreshing comfort of the pool.  

The water provides natural resistance, making exercises effective yet low-impact, perfect for seniors looking to maintain flexibility, balance, and overall wellbeing 

Beyond the physical benefits, our hydro classes are a highlight of the week for many residents because of the social connection and laughter they encourage. Sharing smiles, chatting with friends, and celebrating small achievements in the pool helps everyone feel engaged, supported, and part of the Brookland Robertson community.
