Home sweet home as our final residents move in
An exciting new chapter has begun for Neil and Judy Cahill.
After 59 years of marriage and decades spent raising a family, the couple have chosen Brookland Robertson to spend the next chapter of their life.
The couple recently moved into a brand-new apartment at the community, becoming Brookland’s final residents as the village celebrates its sell-out success.
Having downsized from their five-bedroom family home in Sunnybank, Neil and Judy were drawn to Brookland by its welcoming atmosphere, modern facilities and strong sense of community.
“We were very happy that an apartment was available because we thought we might have to wait a long time to move,” Judy said.
“It’s a very homely community, very inviting and with lovely facilities, especially the pool. I’m interested in the hydrotherapy classes.”
Their arrival marks a significant milestone for our community, which has undergone a carefully staged $50 million transformation in recent years. The redevelopment delivered 92 contemporary apartments across The Waratah and The Banksia residences, alongside a luxury resort-style community centre.
Today, more than 250 residents call Brookland home and enjoy a vibrant lifestyle supported by premium facilities including a cinema, library, health club, indoor swimming pool, gym, bar and lounge, and hair and beauty salon.
We extend a warm welcome to Neil and Judy and wish them every happiness as they settle into life at Brookland.
