Celebrating major milestones at Brookland Robertson
It’s time to celebrate at Brookland Robertson, with the community now officially 100 per cent sold out following completion of its $50 million redevelopment.
Originally opened in 1984, Brookland has been thoughtfully revitalised to complement its existing villas while elevating amenity for more than 250 residents.
Reside acquired the village in 2018 with the aim of delivering a new standard of living to seniors.
The four-year transformation has delivered 92 contemporary apartments across two stages alongside a luxury resort-style community centre.
The redevelopment began with Stage One, The Waratah, which was completed in October 2022 and introduced 39 contemporary apartments along with significant upgrades to shared facilities.
The second and final stage, The Banksia, was completed in 2024, adding a further 53 architecturally designed one, two and three-bedroom apartments, as well as new amenities.
Located less than 10 minutes’ drive from Westfield Mount Gravatt and just 15kms from the Brisbane CBD, the village now features a health club, indoor swimming pool, modern gym, bar and lounge, hair and beauty salon, cinema, library and expansive outdoor recreation areas.
Adding to the excitement, Brookland Robertson has been named a finalist in the National Retirement Living Awards for Best Redevelopment, recognising the scale and quality of its transformation.
Reside Communities CEO and Co-Founder Glen Brown said the dual milestone reflected a strong year of growth and delivery for the business.
“In creating Brookland Robertson we pulled out all the stops to meet the growing demand from local retirees, and the result is a fresh, modern option for seniors who want to experience luxury in their retirement,” he said.
“The complete sell-out is a tremendous achievement and demonstrates the demand for high-quality, well-located retirement communities.
“To also be recognised nationally as a finalist for Best Redevelopment highlights the care and investment that has gone into revitalising this village.
“This is not just a home but a lifestyle, one that promotes wellness, connection, and enjoyment in every aspect.”
