Brookland residents brush up their skills in art class

The ‘Colours with Kate’ painting class has been a hit with residents looking to get creative and have fun.

What started as a small landscape painting project, inspired by photos of the village gardens in Spring bloom, is now blooming.

Now, Brookland residents have begun painting birds from photos taken by resident wildlife photographer, Lai Lin Chan.

Learning colour theory and painting practices, residents have been making masterpieces of their own, even exhibiting their work in a new gallery space.

Brookland Robertson is a flurry of activity with plenty of activities and events for residents to enjoy all-year-round.
