Cinema and library construction underway at The Banksia!

It’s all systems go at Brookland’s ‘The Banksia’ as work commences on the upper ground cinema and library. 

The scaffolding removal has also commenced, with two levels dropped in July, giving us our first look at views from The Banksia. 

Elsewhere, the lift installation is complete, as well as balustrading glass on all levels and aluminum screens and window hoods on the facade. 

Internal finishes look good too. Lower ground levels now have shower screens, mirrors, robes, and stone benchtops, while on the upper ground tiling, joinery and flooring is complete. 

On Level 1, waterproofing and tiling to wet areas and the kitchen and robe joinery are finished.  Waterproofing in wet areas has also been completed on Level 2 and this has now commenced on Level 3. 

Offering 52 contemporary apartments and yet more 5-star community facilities, The Banksia is the latest stage of our Brookland expansion, which is all about doing retirement right.
