Birds eye view reveals firm foundations at Brookland

The standard of amenities enjoyed by Brookland Retirement Village residents will reach even greater heights thanks to the new Clubhouse growing at the heart of the community.

A private cinema, heated indoor lap pool, gym, café, bar, lounge and hair salon will deliver a lifestyle upgrade for Brookland’s current residents as well as retirees moving into the 96 new luxury apartments.

A tower crane has risen above the site of the future Clubhouse and apartments, offering an ideal vantage point to view the latest construction progress.

Almost all the excavators have gone after removing nearly 10,000m3 of earth to create the foundations. As the number of trades increases the building structure is starting to take shape.

The first major slab pour has now been completed, creating the basement level which will provide convenient undercover parking for the new apartments.

In another milestone moment the first vertical columns and walls have emerged. Teams of formworkers are creating the first suspended slab, keeping the project on track to reach ground level during October.

The new 1, 2 or 3-bedroom apartments have already proved popular with retirees keen to savour the scenic views, low maintenance lifestyle and future-proofed inclusions designed with comfortable living in mind.
